Join our summer reading program and have fun all summer long! Summer reading programs for children in Pre-K–8th grade. Activities include group games, physical challenges, magic and illusions, science experiments, and more.
“On Your Mark, Get Set, Read!” for students in grades 2–5, designed to encourage the joy of reading through activities, games, incentives and a summer full of special programs. Junior Varsity Club for age 3 to 2nd Grade and Varsity Club 3rd–5th Grade.
“Get in the Game, READ” is just for teens in grades 6 and up.

New! Adult Summer Reading Club
Are you looking to get credit for all those books you read on the beach or listen to on the car on the way to work? Feeling left out that the kids get to have all the summer reading fun? Do you want a chance to win a prize? Join the inaugural Upper Saddle River Library’s Adult Summer Reading Club, which runs from June 6th–August 31st! Every book you read (or audiobook you listen to) will count towards an entry in our twice monthly raffle, and you can earn extra entries by completing the activities listed on the website. A Reader's Advisory for Fiction
With your Library card number (Patron ID) you can explore NoveList, a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 135,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, What We're Reading, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Annotated Book Lists. The NoveList database is reached through the EBSCO port which will ask for your library card number ( Patron ID).
