Exercise Classes and Groups at the Library

Adult programs are open to Library cardholders in Bergen County. Programs are free unless noted. Registration is required.

Fitness Fees: Choose a full (10 week) or a half (5 week) session. USR cardholders: 5 weeks $37.50 or 10 weeks $65. Non-USR cardholders: 5 weeks $42.50 or 10 weeks $75.

Bridge Club
Fridays @ 10:00am • Drop-in!
Bridge lovers with passing knowledge of bidding and play-of-hand are welcome to join a fun and relaxed game with other like-minded players. Contact Janet for more information, 201-264-9330.

Chat & Stitch
Wednesdays @ 12pm • Drop-in!
Drop-in mid-day on Wednesdays with your needlework projects, make new friends and share ideas! Beginners are welcome.

Go Club

It’s All in the Details:
Gardening Program

Tuesday • October 2nd • 7:30 pm

Join us for a discussion of garden details and ornamentation, which when correctly used, create drama, texture, and focus in any landscape. Photos from public and private gardens will be used to demonstrate the siting, choice and construction of garden details as water features, fountains, decorative walls and paving choices.

USR Library to Open Earlier

In order to accommodate the many requests for earlier hours the Upper Saddle River Library’s new hours will be Monday–Thursday 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. These hours begin Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

Monday thru Thursday: 9:30am-8:30pm
Friday: 10am-5pm
Saturday: 10am-5pm
Sundays: 1pm-5pm starting Sept. 16

Non-impact weight training using light weights and
your own body weight for a total conditioning class.
Bring a pair of weights (3–6 lbs.) and a mat.
