Meeting Rooms at the Library
The meeting room may be used by community organizations for meetings or programs whose aims are educational, cultural, civic and/or recreational. Fund raisers may be held in the library meeting room by Saddle River Valley non-profit organizations only, for the purpose of raising money to support Upper Saddle River organizations. Any other type of fund raisers will be at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.
Snow Emergency Policy
Please remember to call the library to see if we have opened or will be closing early due to inclement weather. If the Upper Saddle River schools close during the school day due to weather, the Upper Saddle River Library will close at the same time. Children may not be sent to the library.
Library Fees
Library Cards are free to all residents of residents of Upper Saddle River with proper identification. Apply for a library card.
Use the online form to apply for a library card. Your online application will be forwarded to your home library ( Upper Saddle River). You will need to visit the library with proof of address to complete the application process.

MEMBERSHIP FEE – $450 for a one year family membership (effective March 1, 2013)
Woodcliff Lake residents: $275 is paid to the USR Library by the Woodcliff Lake Resident and $175.00 is paid to the USR Library by the Borough of Woodcliff Lake. Download the membership letter explaining all of the benefits of membership!
