Join us at Lions Park on Saturday, Sept. 26th from 12–5 pm. It’s the perfect time to reconnect with neighbors and visit our wonderful community groups. Stop by the Library’s table and take a chance with our carnival spinning prize wheel–everyone is a winner! And don’t forget a photo with Pete the Cat!

New Additions to the Library of Things!
The Library of Things is a collection of physical items for loan that expands the boundaries of traditional library materials. We have added several new items to the Library of Things: a knife sharpener, a paper shredder, a tire inflater, binoculars, and a large Connect 4 lawn game. These are in addition to the host of items we already have, which include indoor games, outdoor games, and even a record player. Stop in to see the collection. A valid adult USR Library card is needed to borrow.
New SEL Book Collection
We’ve introduced an SEL (Social Emotional Learning) Collection to our children’s section! Social Emotional Learning literature focuses on equipping children with important social skills and behaviors, such as empathy and effective communication. Spanish and Korean Language Books
We have Spanish and Korean language books for adults. The two collections are located across from the study rooms in the adult section. They currently have a mix of classics and new titles, and will continue to grow.
Meeting Room Online Reservation System
We’ve transitioned our meeting room booking requests to our new online reservation system. This applies to all community organizations who use our downstairs meeting rooms. Find more information on our website.
