How to Place a Request for a Book or Other Materials
Who may use this service: All regular Upper Saddle River library cardholders. Paid card holders should speak to a librarian to place requests.
How to Search Visit the BCCLS Page and enter your search. Please note that there may be multiple formats for certain titles.
Placing the Request Please enter your entire library card number without any spaces and your library PIN/password and click on Log In, then click on Submit Request. If you are unsure of your PIN/password, you can come into the library to reset it.
How Long Will It Take ? The length of your wait will depend on the number of copies owned and the demand for a particular title. Requests for available materials being shipped from other libraries will usually take several business days to be received following the processing of your request.
Limits: Patrons are limited to 10 requests. Note: New release high-demand movies (DVD/blu-ray) in the Upper Saddle River Library collection (owned by the library less than two months) are not able to be placed on reserve. These materials are available on a first come/first served basis. Other libraries in BCCLS may have similar restrictions, but regular library cardholders may visit the owning library and borrow available material in person.
