Miso is a traditional Japanese product that is high in protein and rich in vitamins. In this workshop, Cheryl Passwater from Contraband Ferments will cover the basic science behind making miso, why it is so good for you, and how to make it yourself.
If you want to get some miso going during class, participants will need to purchase and prep their own beans in advance of the class. Koji, a mason jar and recipes will be provided for contactless pickup.
