Visit us at USR DAY!
Join us at Lions Park for Upper Saddle River Day on Saturday, September 28 from 12–5 pm. It’s the perfect time to gather with friends, family, and neighbors for a day of fun and excitement. Set aside time to stop by the Library’s table and take a chance with our carnival spinning prize wheel–everyone is a winner! Personalize your own colorful button, browse our collage from past programs and don’t forget to take a family photo with Pete the Cat!
This is a great time to browse all that the Library has to offer. We’ll be able to sign you up for a USR library card on the spot with your ID. And stop by our Friends of the Library table to see all that they do to support our library.
Congratulations Novels at Night!
Our Wednesday night book group Novels at Night has just completed its 20th season this past July. Rhonda Wasserman has led the group since 2009, leading discussions of 165 books over the past 15 years. The library greatly appreciates her volunteer service. Stop by the library to see the Novels at Night display. Longtime member Fran T. says “Many of the books that I have enjoyed reading, I never would have picked up if it was not for Novels at Night. It’s very satisfying to be with others that share the same interest, the love of reading.”
This is a book group for those who enjoy informal discussion and hearing the different viewpoints of the members. New members are always welcome. You don’t need to pre-register, just stop at the front desk to pickup the next title and join the group at their meeting in September.
